The Poverty Business

Should the poor have more protection rights when it comes to their financial protection? This question has been asked for many years and many decades. The financial system of America has been known to keep the rich more rich, and the poor more poor. In this particular report called “ The poverty business”, it explains many examples of people who have been affected by the unfair laws and policies of the government financial system. The conversation of how the poor and rich are taxed comes up very often. It seems as if the poor are taxed more than the 1 percent of American who are rich. The lack of protection for the poor is very wrong. There is indeed a market to get rich off of the poor. But we as a society need to decide how we can make this better for everyone below the poverty level. People need to be serious about what they want. There should be no reason for people with low credit to be charged more than what they can afford. There should be more protection laws for low income people  . I also believe that people need to educate themselves on what is out there for them. People need to know the inside and out of their financial rights. Until that happens, people will continue to get ripped off from what they need and deserve.  Until people find out what is good for them, they will remain stuck in poverty.
