On my Way to greatness

There are many things that come to mind when I think of my internship. I mainly think about were I am headed, how well I will adapt to a new environment, and if I will succeed with the skills that I have been taught from year up. Anxiety's are natural for me have, but I always manage to do well in situations like this. There are so many helpful skills that I have learned from Business communications, and C.N.I.T classes, It is hard to say which skill I will be showcasing first, hopefully it is all of them. Year Up has taught me how to work well in many different environments whether it is in a group, in pairs, or working individually on our own. For me personally, I prefer to work in a group of people, therefore if I have any questions, or if I get stuck on something, I will always have someone to ask for assistance. I also learn better in groups. No matter how much of a challenge this internship may be, my main goal is to gain experience, and to gain more skills. Other than that, I am excited, and I cant wait to see how everything may come out.

Back to yearup

In another few weeks, year up students will be preparing for their 6 month internships at a major company around the Bay Area. But most people are not prepared to face the discipline and hard work that we will have to take in these next few weeks, but I have faith that we will all succeed to the limit. The break has just threw us all of

New years

Many people seem to always have a magical new begging for the new years. That seems very silly to me. I always thought that the habits you had before, are the habits you will carry if you dont take the initiative to change them on your own, not because of a new yea. Yes new years can be a new year for changes, but not for miracles.

Tradition

When you think of the holiday's, you automatically think of the many traditions that different families share. My family;s traditions have been the same for many years. The only thing that has changed for me is the fact that I have moved from Santa Cruz to the Bay area. All we do as a family is meet up, eat dinner, and share and open presents. that has been the way of holiday life for many years.
