Internship readiness

Internship readiness means many things. A person who fits this description has three things. Professionalism, mannerism, and confidence. During the last two modules,  Year up has prepared my colleagues and I to practice these three main things . The staff has provided us pro skills classes , business communications, along with tech classes. They not only provide the space, but they also provide the tools in order for us to be successful. For me professionally, I plan to show all of these great qualities that I have learned from the previous modules. It is essential for me to be an example for the rest of my colleagues. I will show up on time, participate during class activities, and complete and turn in quality work. These are the main factors of what my success will be.

The unwanted

What does a job mean to most people? to be truthfully honest, it means nothing more than a unwanted position that they have to keep in order to receive a salary. It is nothing more than the money that the person may need. I have never held a real job title, but there are many titles that I have had to take on in the past that I absolutely hated. These titles include working as a volunteer for a 3rd grade class, volunteering at a home for elderly people, and babysitting for certain people. Even though all of these things were not things that I wanted to end up doing, they still helped shape me into the person I am today. All of these jobs include huge responsibilities, but the job that had the most was when I baby sat for other people’s children.  You have to keep your eyes open all of the time. Just you being there is a responsibility, because young children are very adamantine.
